Head of Fund Finance | Private Markets | London
I’m currently recruiting for a Head of Fund Accounting to join a highly regarded global investment firm as it continues to scale its private markets platform. Reporting to the COO, this is a senior leadership role with full ownership of the fund finance function across private credit funds, SMAs, closed-ended structures, and semi-liquid/evergreen vehicles.
The role will include:
- Leading and developing the private markets fund accounting team
- Owning the end-to-end NAV process across an outsourced administration model
- Overseeing financial reporting, audits, tax, and regulatory deliverables
- Managing fund administrators, depositaries, and auditors
- Supporting new fund launches, investor onboarding, and complex transactions
- Strengthening controls and driving automation across the operating model

What they’re looking for:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification
- Significant post-qualified fund accounting experience
- A strong private debt, private credit, private equity, or broader alternatives background
- Technical expertise across partnership accounting, waterfalls, multicurrency structures, and financial reporting
- Proven experience leading and developing a team
