Job Description
As Head of Fund Services, Jersey, you will lead the Fund Services Division of EFG Wealth Solutions (Jersey) Limited (“EFGIJ”), a designated senior management function under the Jersey Financial Services Commission regime. You will be responsible for the commercial success, sustainable growth and overall leadership of the Division, setting and executing a clear business strategy that delivers meaningful revenue and profitability in line with agreed budgets and targets.
You will retain full functional responsibility for the Division’s administration, operations, governance and accounting teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality fiduciary and fund administration services, robust risk management and regulatory compliance. As a member of the executive board of EFGIJ, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the business, acting as a primary liaison with regulators, clients and key stakeholders, and ensuring that EFGIJ maintains its reputation as a trusted and leading fund services provider.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the commercial strategy for the Fund Services Division, defining and delivering business plans with clear revenue, margin and growth targets across client segments and product lines, in line with EFG’s strategic priorities and risk appetite.
- Drive business development and client acquisition by originating, managing and converting new business pipelines from the wider EFG Group, intermediaries and direct prospects, and by overseeing proposals, pitch documentation and commercial terms for new client relationships.
- Represent EFG as a commercial ambassador in the market, enhancing the positioning of EFG’s fund services offering through active participation in conferences, networking events and industry forums, and by building strategic alliances with third parties and intermediaries.
- Provide functional leadership for the Division’s administration, operations, governance and accounting teams, ensuring high-quality fiduciary services, operational efficiency and full compliance with regulatory obligations and internal risk frameworks. Act as an “A” Authorised Signatory and, where required, as director/trustee of client entities.
- Lead financial management and commercial performance of the Division by contributing to budget setting, monitoring financial results against targets, optimising pricing and product mix, and implementing efficiency initiatives that demonstrably improve profitability.
- Foster a high-performance, commercially aware culture by leading, developing and retaining talent within the Division, setting clear objectives, providing timely feedback, recognising strong performance and managing underperformance fairly and decisively.
- Promote strong relationship management and client retention by building and deepening relationships with key decision makers at clients and intermediaries, collaborating closely with colleagues across EFG, and ensuring integrated solutions that meet client needs.
- Oversee and enhance governance, risk and compliance frameworks for the Division, ensuring adherence to funds law, local regulatory requirements, corporate governance standards and EFG’s risk management framework, including CPD and training requirements for yourself and your team.
- Chair and contribute to internal committees and meetings as required, ensuring timely, accurate reporting of key information to the CEO EFGIJ and other senior stakeholders, and actively contributing to the broader strategic development of the company.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
