We are looking for a Senior Leader to head our Game Project Management function — the discipline that keeps every game moving from build to done. You will own how work is prioritised, planned and delivered across Game Operations, and set the standard for how projects run.

The role is broader than project delivery alone. You will lead four connected areas: project and programme management, prioritisation and workstream delivery, KPIs and reporting, and the tools, systems and process the operation runs on. And you will apply them on three fronts — the function's own projects, the wider company programmes Game Operations contributes to, and a standing partnership with Game Enablement, Game Release Management and Integrations to improve their process, tools and delivery.

The core of the job is simple to state and hard to do: get more delivered, faster, to a consistently high standard, with clear KPIs and full visibility of where everything sits. You will be equally at home setting direction and getting into the detail — designing the framework one day, unblocking a stalled delivery the next. You will need to know iGaming well: how games move through a regulated, multi-market environment, and what it takes to deliver in one.

Responsibilities

Project & Programme Management

  • Define and own the project and programme management methodology, standards and governance across Game Operations — kept pragmatic and proportionate to the work.
  • Apply the right approach to each piece of work — agile, structured or hybrid — with clear stage gates, RAID management and escalation paths.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Own the tools, systems and process the function runs on, and scale them as the operation grows.
  • Map how work flows through Game Operations, find where time and effort get lost, and fix the underlying process rather than the symptom.
  • Bring automation and AI into how the function works, wherever it cuts friction or manual effort.
  • Partner with Game Enablement, Game Release Management and Integrations on their own tools, process and prioritisation — finding what slows them down and helping fix it.

Central Oversight & Visibility

  • Maintain a single, central view of every project across Game Operations — from integrations to release to new market entry — so it is always clear what is in flight and where each piece sits.
  • Track work through the whole flow: what is done, in progress or stuck, and who it is waiting on.

Prioritisation & Portfolio

  • Own the prioritisation of work across Game Operations — ranked by value and sequenced deliberately.
  • Control the intake and triage of new demand, so nothing starts without a clear priority, owner and a costed business case.
  • Use a clear, defensible basis for prioritisation, including revenue weighting, and reprioritise as circumstances change.
  • Balance competing demands and finite resource, make the trade-offs visible, and drive the decisions that set the order of work.

Resourcing & Capability

  • Own the resourcing plan for the function — modelling capacity against demand, and building the case for new roles or a different location mix where gaps exist.
  • Build the business case for investing in the function's people, tools and process capability, and report transparently on how major programmes track against cost.

Delivery, KPIs & Continuous Improvement

  • Push throughput up and cycle times down quarter over quarter, without letting quality slip.
  • Run the function on clear KPIs — cycle times, time in queue, throughput, quality and cost — tracked against target.
  • Close every delivery with a retrospective — what worked, what didn't, and whether it delivered against the business case behind it — and feed that back into how the function prioritises and improves.

Leadership & Stakeholders

  • Lead the function across both its delivery and operational sides, setting direction and holding focus on what matters most.
  • Build an inclusive team culture that draws on a range of perspectives and keeps people motivated through change.
  • Line-manage, coach and develop the project managers and operations leads in the function, setting clear objectives and building their capability over time.
  • Build the relationships the role depends on — across any team in the business, and externally where it helps — and communicate delivery clearly at every level.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years in project or programme management, including leading delivery at a senior level.
  • Direct experience in iGaming or an adjacent regulated industry is required.
  • A strong track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder programmes in fast-moving environments.
  • Experience building resourcing plans and investment cases for a function or team.
  • Strong senior stakeholder management and executive communication experience.
  • Recognised project management qualification (PRINCE2, PMP, MSP or a portfolio/programme-level equivalent) is an advantage.
  • A genuine interest in AI and automation, and how they can be applied to project and process delivery, is desirable but not essential.

Skills & Abilities

  • A senior delivery leader with genuine expertise in project and programme management — methodology, governance, RAID and prioritisation, applied pragmatically.
  • Strong process and systems instinct — you map how work flows, spot where it breaks down, and fix it with better tooling, automation or a redesigned process.
  • Rigorous about visibility — at any point you know what is in flight, where it sits and what is holding it up.
  • Focused on throughput, quality and measurement — you run delivery on KPIs and learn from every cycle.
  • Fluent with the numbers — you cost work up front, build the business case, hold others to the same bar, and can speak to the likely return even where the commercial outcome sits elsewhere.
  • Sound judgement in a regulated, multi-market environment — you know where compliance and certification shape a delivery plan.
  • A clear, credible, inclusive communicator who influences and develops people at every level.
  • Hands-on when it counts, and fluent with delivery tooling — Jira, Monday.com or equivalent.
