The Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional Head of Compliance to join our senior leadership team and help shape the compliance, governance and risk framework of a growing international organisation.
This is a unique opportunity to build and embed a strong culture of compliance from the ground up, ensuring that regulatory, governance and risk considerations are integrated across our operations, programmes and countries.
Working closely with the Chief People and Governance Officer and Global General Counsel, you will lead compliance across the organisation, covering regulatory requirements, policies, risk management, donor compliance, documentation, monitoring and assurance.

You will also play a leading role in preparing Project Yananai for NCVO Trusted Standard, EFQM and Chartered Governance Institute recognition.
As the organisation grows, you will have the opportunity to build and develop a dedicated compliance and administration function.
About You
We are looking for a senior compliance, governance or risk professional with:
- Significant experience in compliance, governance or risk management
- Experience developing and implementing compliance frameworks within complex organisations
- Experience working across multiple jurisdictions or regulatory environments
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, governance, risk and policy development
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder-management skills
- The ability to translate complex requirements into clear, practical processes
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a high level of integrity
- Experience building, leading or developing teams
Charity or non-profit sector experience is desirable, but not essential. We welcome applications from experienced professionals from other sectors who can demonstrate strong transferable expertise and a genuine commitment to our mission.
