Global Head of Product Development at ADAMA
The Global Head of Product Development at ADAMA drives the overall Product Development process at ADAMA ensuring projects are delivered in time and cost and with the desired performance and unit cost targets. He/she acts as “primus inter pares” with the other technical P&I functions and proposes & drives areas of innovation at ADAMA.
He/she leads the Global Product Biology function to ensure the best AIs and AI mixtures with the proper biology / efficacy profile are prioritized, supported during development as well as technically positioned for launch and during Life Cycle Management.
The position reports to the EVP of Portfolio & Innovation and is a member of the P&I Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development
- Drives the overall Product Development process at ADAMA and is a key member of the Global (Sub-) Offering Committees
- Proposes & drives areas of innovation at ADAMA in alignment with P&I LT
Product Biology
- Close connection between Global and Local teams to ensure best AIs and AI mixtures with the proper biology / efficacy profile are prioritized by the Sectors (Screening & Prototyping)
- Drives & supports projects during development with the appropriate field trial work
- Ensures strong technical positioning of products for launch and during Life Cycle Management.

What You Bring With You
- 15+ years of technical and commercial leadership in global agronomical development, crop health, and market positioning
- MSc. or PhD. degree in biological sciences such as Plant Science, Entomology, Biology, Agronomy, Agriculture or related
- A strong, customer-first innovation mindset, with a track record of translating real grower and market needs into practical, high-value product offerings
- Proven track record of building, mentoring, and empowering high-performing global teams of technical and product experts
- Proven success operating in complex, matrixed global organizations—effectively leading cross-regional teams through influence, collaboration, and functional alignment
- Drive enterprise-wide alignment and decision-making across global functions, businesses, and regions, balancing local needs with enterprise priorities.
- Champion large-scale transformation initiatives, simplifying governance, accelerating change adoption, and ensuring long-term organizational impact.
- Build and leverage strategic relationships across the enterprise and external ecosystem to create business value and reinforce an ADAMA-first mindset.
