About The Department

Talent Acquisition plays a critical role in supporting business growth by attracting, hiring, and retaining exceptional talent across all regions and business areas. Working closely with Talent Management, Human Resources Business Partners, and senior leaders, the team combines recruitment expertise, workforce planning, market intelligence, and talent insights to build future-ready talent pipelines and strengthen organizational capability. You will be joining us at an exciting stage in our development, having recently implemented a talent intelligence platform. We’re looking for someone to lead us through the next chapter of our journey, helping us navigate the opportunities and challenges ahead.

How You Will Add Value

  • Define and deliver Franklin Templeton’s global talent acquisition strategy.
  • Create a consistent global recruitment framework while allowing flexibility to meet regional market requirements.
  • Lead all recruitment activity worldwide across experienced hire, early career, and executive.
  • Partner with business leaders to align hiring with workforce plans.
  • Build a proactive talent strategy that strengthens organizational capability and succession planning.
  • Drive adoption of artificial intelligence and recruitment technologies.
  • Enhance employer branding and talent marketing strategies.
  • Use analytics to improve hiring outcomes and decision making.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing global Talent Acquisition team.

What Will Help You Be Successful in This Role

Experience, Education & Certifications

  • Significant Talent Acquisition leadership experience within a global organization.
  • Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide recruitment strategies across multiple international markets.
  • Experience across executive, professional, and early careers hiring.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Professional Human Resources or Talent Acquisition qualification preferred.
  • Executive Search, Workforce Planning, or Talent Management certifications advantageous.

Technical Skills

  • Deep understanding of recruitment technology and automation, including ATS, CRM platforms, recruitment marketing tools, talent intelligence platforms, and AI platforms.
  • Strong workforce planning and organizational capability knowledge.
  • Ability to use market intelligence and analytics to guide decisions.

Soft Skills

  • Strong commercial and strategic thinking.
  • Executive stakeholder influence and partnership skills.
  • Excellent communication and change leadership capabilities.
  • Data-driven approach to problem solving and decision making.
  • Collaborative leadership style with high integrity and accountability.

Work Schedule & Location

Location: New York, Boston, San Matteo, St Pete, London, Edinburgh

This role will require 3 days per week in one of the above offices.
