Shape the Future of Global Treasury
We are seeking an exceptional Head of Global Treasury to implement and manage our international treasury function across approximately 50 global subsidiaries.
This is a pivotal role responsible for driving liquidity, cash flow optimisation, foreign exchange risk management, banking strategy, debt management and working capital performance across a complex multinational group.
Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will play a critical role in protecting and enhancing the Group's financial position while partnering with senior leaders and key clients to help support sustainable growth.
This is an opportunity for a commercially minded treasury professional to combine treasury thought leadership with hands-on operational expertise in a fast-paced international environment.
Job Description
As Head of Global Treasury, you will:
- Lead all treasury activities across multiple international legal entities and currencies.
- Own the Group's liquidity strategy, ensuring sufficient funding across all businesses.
- Deliver accurate short, medium and long-term cash flow forecasting.
- Optimise working capital and cash conversion throughout the organisation.
- Support the Credit Control team in building strong relationships with senior stakeholders at key client organisations to ensure timely payment of invoices and maximise cash collection performance.
- Manage foreign exchange exposure and develop effective hedging strategies to protect profitability.
- Review major charter bookings and significant transactions to identify and manage currency risks.
- Oversee monthly foreign exchange revaluations, treasury and intercompany accounting activities.
- Lead relationships with global day to day banking partners and treasury service providers.
- Rationalise and optimise banking structures across multiple jurisdictions.
- Support the key lender relationships, debt servicing activities and funding requirements.
- Develop the Group’s ESG reporting in line with ongoing audit and banking requirements.
- Develop treasury policies, controls and governance frameworks that support a best-in-class treasury function.
- Drive treasury transformation, process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Implement and manage a high-performing treasury function.

Qualifications

You will be an experienced treasury professional with a proven track record operating within a complex multinational environment.
You'll bring:
- Significant experience of treasury operations across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
- Expertise in cash flow forecasting, liquidity management and working capital optimisation.
- Strong foreign exchange risk management and hedging experience.
- Experience supporting international banking relationships and treasury structures.
- A strong understanding of debt facilities, funding arrangements and treasury controls.
- Demonstrable success influencing senior stakeholders internally and externally.
- Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
