Head of Procurement, EMEA
Our client is looking for a Head of Procurement, EMEA to lead procurement for its European data centre expansion and hardware portfolio.
You’ll own the regional CapEx plan, lead major commercial negotiations and build a consistent approach to sourcing across European sites. This is a hands-on leadership role: the Finland team lead is in place, and hiring the UK team lead will be an early priority.
What you’ll own
- The EMEA data centre and hardware CapEx portfolio, including forecasting and reporting with Finance.
- Sourcing strategy and agreements with OEMs, contractors, equipment suppliers and logistics partners.
- Commercial negotiations for major investments, including long-term and volume agreements.
- Procurement schedules aligned with construction, commissioning and site go-live dates.
- The UK and Finland procurement teams, with clear ownership, supplier frameworks and measurable cost savings.

What we’re looking for
- 10+ years in procurement, supply chain or commercial leadership within data centres, IT hardware or critical infrastructure.
- Experience managing large CapEx portfolios and negotiating major supplier agreements.
- An established European OEM, vendor and contractor network.
- Experience with international logistics, EU and UK customs, Incoterms and supply chain risk.
- A track record of leading procurement across multiple countries and building teams in a growing business.
- Mandarin language capability for direct engagement with Asian manufacturing and OEM/ODM partners.

GPU or server hardware sourcing experience, German language skills and CIPS, CPSM or similar qualifications would be useful.
The role offers regional ownership, equity and the opportunity to build a procurement function alongside a multi-year data centre expansion. It will involve frequent travel and periods of intense delivery around site milestones.
