Head of Growth
TechTree is recruiting for this role on behalf of one of our clients.
TechTree is an AI-driven recruitment platform working with high-growth companies.

About the Role
Head of Growth — first growth hire at a consumer app where anyone can make a playable game from one prompt. London, in person.
A backed consumer startup building a new category between social video and gaming: a mobile feed of playable games that users scroll, play instantly and create themselves from a single text prompt. The product is live on the App Store and the London team is being built now.
At the start, you are the growth team. No playbook to inherit, nobody to delegate to. Growth has to come from the product, not from ads, and the number you own is the K-factor.
What You'll Do
- Work out how the app grows organically: sharing, invites, content, community and the app store
- Build growth into the product with the founders, product lead and engineers: shareable moments, invite flows and the measurement that proves they work
- Test, read the results, keep what works and push hard on the winning bets
- Use paid as a testing tool, not the engine
- Recruit the people to run each proven bet

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
