Remote, within easy reach of central London - Full-time, permanent
£70,000 to £80,000 base

Times One Hundred is a compact team of senior media, data and creative specialists for businesses built on audiences: brands with release schedules, launch windows, seasonal peaks and other make-or-break commercial moments. Our campaign for the Coraline cinema re-release won Paid Media Campaign of the Year at the 2025 European Paid Media Awards.

Growth now needs one owner. We have award-winning campaigns, long-standing client relationships, a clear point of view, a delivery team people trust and none of the bureaucracy that slows bigger agencies down. Your job is to turn that into the right conversations, the right clients and signed work.

This is a visible, high-trust role with room to build. You will work directly with our founder and Operating Lead, create demand personally and lead sales from first signal to signature. As you prove what works, you will shape the commercial system and make the case for the capacity it needs.

The role

You start as the hands-on owner of demand generation and new-business sales. We give you the assets: client proof, account knowledge, delivery specialists and warm relationships. You turn them into qualified demand, lead the serious opportunities and make sure we only sell work the team can deliver well.

Your first job is to do the work and build the system at the same time. When the evidence shows more capacity will pay back, and it is approved, you lead it and stay accountable for the result.

What you will do

  • Pick a small number of promising customer groups and routes to reach them, chosen on evidence, not volume for its own sake.
  • Create and nurture demand personally: client proof, useful content and the website, relationships, referrals, partnerships, high-potential accounts, inbound interest, industry presence and focused outreach.
  • Qualify opportunities and lead discovery, proposals, pricing, negotiation and close.
  • Build clear proposals that connect the client's problem to work Times One Hundred can deliver.
  • Keep one honest pipeline and forecast, with a clear next buyer action and date on every live opportunity.
  • Agree price, margin, scope, timing and capacity with Finance and Client Fulfilment before you promise them to a client.
  • Turn wins, losses and buyer feedback into a commercial method that belongs to the company.
  • Recommend extra people or specialist support only when results and workload justify it, then lead the approved capacity with clear responsibilities and measures.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What success looks like

  • Qualified demand comes from repeatable sources the company owns.
  • The live pipeline is trustworthy, current and useful for decisions.
  • Opportunities move with real follow-through, not drift or optimistic labels.
  • Signed work is commercially sound and accepted by the people who must deliver it.
  • High-potential clients have proactive growth plans that contribute credibly to the forecast.
  • The founder adds value to selected relationships without being needed for routine demand or close.

Your first 90 days

  • Take control of the live pipeline and agree what is real, what needs action and what should close.
  • Agree how founder-held opportunities transfer, then own the routine sales work.
  • Run two focused tests using the strongest warm, proof-led or account-growth sources available.
  • Set up the small weekly commercial scorecard and use it to make decisions.
  • Lead real opportunities through qualification, proposal, close and handover wherever buyer timing allows.
  • Come back with an evidence-based view of what you can sustain personally and what extra capacity, if any, has earned a business case.

What you bring

We will look for evidence that you have:

  • personally owned demand generation and complex B2B sales in an agency, consultancy or comparable service business;
  • taken opportunities from first signal through discovery, proposal, negotiation and signed work;
  • created demand yourself as well as leading the sale;
  • owned a revenue, gross-profit or quota number and can explain the target, the result and your part in it;
  • run a CRM and forecast with discipline, including clear next actions and honest loss learning;
  • made sound calls on pricing, margin, scope and delivery capacity; and
  • built a useful commercial system inside a compact or founder-led company.

Performance marketing, measurement or analytics-agency experience helps but is not essential. So does experience of partnerships, referral routes, account growth or high-stakes consumer campaigns with hard deadlines.

How we work

Our promise to clients is simple: they feel in expert hands. We carry the complexity, show them what is really happening and make the next move easy to understand. We sell the same way: straight talk, claims backed by evidence and a next step that is easy to take. If that is how you like to sell, you will feel at home here.

We aim high, share what we learn and make claims only as strong as the evidence. We promise only what we can deliver well, which is why sales and delivery agree capacity before we commit to a client.

We work remotely. This role needs to be within easy reach of central London for planned client meetings, industry events and occasional team time, and it works UK business hours. The proposed reporting line is our Operating Lead and will be confirmed before appointment. We provide the core equipment for the job.

Selection

We will ask for evidence, not polished generalities. Demand generation and sales are tested separately, because strength in one cannot cover a material gap in the other. Expect a structured conversation about your commercial record and a work sample built on anonymised information. It shows us how you think. It is not free client work and we will not use it as such.

Times One Hundred welcomes applicants from different backgrounds who can deliver the result. If you need a reasonable adjustment at any stage, tell us what would help.
