The opportunity
Orange has been doing things differently since 1968. From our unmistakable amplifiers and bold visual identity to a growing range of consumer audio, and accessible music-making products, we believe music should feel exciting, human and open to more people.
We are looking for a senior, hands-on leader to shape our global digital strategy, accelerate D2C growth in Europe and the USA, and own the complete online customer journey - from discovery to purchase, retention and advocacy. Consumer products will be a major commercial focus, while the community you build will naturally connect with our musical-instrument lines, artists and musicians. You will combine commercial discipline with genuine cultural instinct to grow performance without diluting the brand.
What you'll own
Global consumer growth and community
- Shape a global digital and community strategy across music lovers, musicians, creators and emerging consumer audiences, with particular focus on growing D2C in Europe and the USA.
- Build programmes and experiences that turn interest into participation, purchase, loyalty and advocacy.
The D2C customer journey
- Own the journey from user to buyer to retained customer to advocate.
- Lead the Shopify roadmap across markets, including content, UX, merchandising, conversion-rate optimisation, A/B testing and analytics.
Acquisition and discoverability
- Lead Google Ads, Meta Ads, paid search, paid social and organic SEO & GEO, balancing brand-building with measurable commercial performance.
- Test audiences, creative and landing pages, for optimised performance.
CRM, lifecycle and retention
- Develop our CRM and first-party data capability, creating multi-channel lifecycle journeys across email, ecommerce, paid media and social touch points.
- Lead segmentation, automation, personalisation, loyalty, referral and customer lifetime value initiatives.
- Strong CRM experience is essential; Zoho knowledge is highly desirable.
Product launches, social commerce and brand voice
- Create digital launch strategies for new consumer products and steward how Orange speaks to consumer audiences online.
- Build social-selling opportunities across TikTok and Instagram, connecting product, culture, community and commerce.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Data, leadership and joined-up delivery
- Analyse, interpret and present data from ecommerce, CRM, media, social and other platforms, turning it into clear priorities and decisions.
- Manage the Ecommerce & Partnerships Coordinator, relevant budgets, agencies and technology partners, and work closely with marketing, creative, artist relations, product, sales, operations and customer service.
What success looks like
- A clear global digital & CRM strategy and measurable D2C growth in Europe and the USA.
- Improved qualified traffic, Shopify conversion, D2C revenue, retention and customer lifetime value, supported by disciplined experimentation and A/B testing.
- Distinctive product launches and a consistent, recognisably Orange consumer voice across ecommerce, CRM, paid media and social commerce.
- Clear cross-platform reporting and insight-led decisions that strengthen D2C while supporting our retailers and distributors rather than competing with them.
Who should apply
You may currently be a Head of Growth, Head of Digital, Head of Ecommerce & Retention, Head of Consumer Marketing, Head of Community & Growth or a senior growth leader ready for broader ownership. We particularly welcome experience from music, consumer audio, consumer electronics, music technology, entertainment or design-led lifestyle brands.
Music matters to you
- You are a genuine music lover who understands the connection people have with artists, instruments, audio products and their communities.
Relevant experience
- You bring at least five years' relevant experience. You have built substantial experience in digital growth, ecommerce, lifecycle marketing or community-led consumer growth, and can move confidently between strategy and hands-on delivery.
- You understand global, full-funnel growth. You can build a multi-market strategy connecting audience growth, acquisition, onsite experience, conversion, CRM, retention and advocacy, with the commercial judgement to scale D2C across Europe and the USA.
- You know the core tools and channels. You bring strong Shopify, CRM, Google Ads, Meta Ads, paid search, paid social, organic SEO, organic GEO, and A/B testing experience, plus practical TikTok and Instagram social-selling knowledge.
- You turn data into direction. You can combine, analyse and interpret performance data across multiple platforms, present it clearly to different audiences and translate insight into commercial action.
- You protect brands and lead through collaboration. You can grow a relevant consumer voice without losing the credibility, humour and independence that make Orange distinctive, while developing a direct report and building productive relationships with agencies, technology partners, retailers and distributors.

Useful, but not essential
- Amazon Marketplace, Amazon Advertising or retail-media experience.
- Zoho CRM or wider Zoho-ecosystem experience.
- Creator, artist, loyalty, referral, advocacy or ambassador programmes.
- Direct experience scaling D2C across both European and US markets.
- Considered-purchase and omnichannel journeys spanning D2C, retailers and distributors.
A deliberately focused remit
This role owns global, community-led digital growth, the D2C customer journey and digital launch strategy for relevant consumer products. You will contribute to wider brand and MI activity where community, storytelling or customer experience are involved, but you will not own all company marketing, wholesale sales, product development or every MI launch.
