An exciting opportunity to lead the growth strategy for an established and ambitious ecommerce business.

We’re working with a well-established, privately owned ecommerce business that is entering an exciting new phase of growth. With significant investment already made in technology, automation and customer experience, the business has ambitious plans to substantially increase revenue over the coming years.

They’re now looking for an exceptional Head of Growth to take ownership of the overall growth strategy.

This is not a traditional Marketing Manager role. We’re looking for someone who has already helped scale an ecommerce business and knows how to use data, experimentation and commercial insight to drive meaningful growth.

The Role

As Head of Growth, you’ll own the growth agenda across acquisition, conversion, retention and customer value, working closely with senior leadership and the wider ecommerce team.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering the overall growth strategy
  • Identifying new opportunities to increase revenue and customer growth
  • Driving customer acquisition and improving on-site conversion
  • Leading a strong A/B testing and test-and-learn programme
  • Using analytics and customer insight to influence commercial decisions
  • Developing SEO and AI search/GEO strategies alongside specialist agency partners
  • Leading CRM, retention and customer lifecycle activity
  • Improving repeat purchase and customer lifetime value
  • Developing growth KPIs, reporting and performance dashboards
  • Managing growth budgets and ensuring investment delivers ROI
  • Bringing new technologies, ideas and approaches into the business
  • Building a genuinely data-led growth culture

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
