About the Role

There are plenty of Head of Growth roles where you inherit someone else's strategy, manage the numbers and keep the machine running.

This isn't one of them.

We're partnering with an established, high-growth DTC consumer brand to find someone who wants to take the next big step in their career.

You might already be a Head of Growth. But equally, you could be an ambitious Growth Lead or Senior Growth Manager who has helped scale a DTC brand and is ready to take on significantly more ownership.

The Opportunity

  • You'll initially lead customer acquisition, with an established team of specialists covering Paid Social, PPC, SEO and Affiliates, plus £5m+ of annual digital investment to work with.
  • You won't be walking into a broken function that needs rebuilding. A strong team, sophisticated data capability, and significant investment are already in place.
  • Your job is to understand what's working, get close to the numbers and identify where the next phase of growth comes from.
  • That could mean finding the next acquisition channel, improving the customer journey, changing how investment is allocated or spotting an opportunity in the data that everyone else has missed.
  • And the role gets bigger.
  • Once you've embedded yourself and proven what you can do, the intention is for you to progressively take responsibility for CRM, Retention and Ecommerce, putting you on a path towards leading the wider DTC operation.
  • For the right person, there is a genuine opportunity to progress into a Director-level role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Who We're Looking For

  • We're deliberately not looking for someone based purely on job title or years of experience.
  • We want someone who can point to a DTC business they've helped grow and clearly explain: "This was the opportunity. This is what I did. And this was the impact."
  • You'll have:
    • Experience within a scaling DTC subscription business
    • Strong knowledge of customer acquisition and performance marketing
    • A genuine understanding of CAC, LTV, retention, subscription economics and profitability
    • An analytical mindset and curiosity to keep digging until you understand why something is happening
    • A bias towards action rather than endless process
    • The confidence to challenge people without arriving and assuming everything needs changing
  • Most importantly, you'll still enjoy being close to the detail.
  • This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit above the numbers and delegate everything downwards.

Why Consider It?

  • Because it offers something increasingly difficult to find in DTC:
  • The resources of an established business with the opportunity to still make a genuine mark on it.
  • You'll inherit strong people, meaningful investment and excellent data infrastructure, but still have the autonomy to shape how the business grows.
  • If you've spent the last few years helping someone else build their DTC success story and feel ready to own a much bigger piece of the next one, we'd love to hear from you.
