About Us

Founded in 2008, Absolute Digital Media is the UK’s leading digital marketing agency, specialising in regulated and competitive industries including iGaming, financial services, legal, healthcare, adult content, and cryptocurrency. We’ve won 175+ industry awards and maintain a 97% client retention rate.

We’re not a generalist agency - we focus exclusively on sectors where compliance, technical expertise, and aggressive competition demand specialist knowledge. We’re pioneers in LLM optimisation and AI SEO, positioning ourselves as the agency built for where search is going, not where it’s been.

The Role

As Head of Growth, you are Absolute's primary commercial engine. Your sole focus is growing the agency's revenue – through new client acquisition, strategic partnerships, and expanding relationships in the verticals we are deliberately targeting. You bring a credible network, a structured approach to pipeline management, and the ability to open conversations at senior level and convert them into long-term retainers.

This is not a marketing role or a tendering role. It is a relationship-led, consultative sales role at the senior end of the market. You will be selling multi-channel digital (SEO, PPC, Content, Digital PR etc.) to growth-stage and enterprise businesses who operate in regulated environments (and other industries) and need an agency that understands their world.

You will work closely with the MD and senior leadership team to define and execute Absolute's growth strategy, position the agency in the right conversations, and build a pipeline that delivers consistent, recurring revenue. The role carries a clear commercial target, and the right person will relish that accountability.

THE TARGET

£750,000+ in new annual recurring revenue within 12 months of joining. This is a minimum expectation, not a ceiling. Significant compensation will be structured to reward overperformance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end new business process, from prospecting and initial outreach through to pitch, proposal, negotiation and close.
  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline of target accounts in regulated industries, with clear visibility on stage, value, probability and next action at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, up-to-date CRM, with accurate pipeline data, clear next steps and regular forecasting that the MD and senior team can rely on.
  • Provide weekly pipeline reports to the MD, covering new opportunities added, stage movements, expected close dates, and any risks or blockers.
  • Develop and refine Absolute's pitch process – ensuring proposals are compelling, commercially sound and clearly differentiated from the competition.
  • Leverage your existing network to generate warm introductions and fast-track conversations with senior decision-makers at target brands.
  • Identify and pursue the right mix of inbound and outbound opportunities – prioritising accounts where Absolute can build a long-term, high-value retainer relationship.
  • Represent Absolute at industry events, conferences and networking forums (particularly in iGaming, finance), building the agency's profile in these verticals actively and consistently.
  • Develop outreach strategies that are personal, insight-led and tailored – not spray-and-pray.
  • Stay current with regulatory developments, industry news and market dynamics in target verticals – and use this knowledge to position Absolute as the informed, specialist choice.
  • Work closely with the ‘Heads Of’ to ensure new clients are onboarded properly, with a clear brief, agreed KPIs and a realistic scope from day one.
  • Support retention conversations on high-value accounts where a senior commercial presence would help.

What We're Looking For

  • A demonstrable track record of selling digital marketing services at senior level, with clear, verifiable revenue numbers attached to your name.
  • A genuine black book of senior contacts – relationships you have built over time and can activate quickly at Absolute.
  • The ability to sell consultatively (not pitch-deck-first), but through genuine understanding of a client's business, challenges and commercial goals.
  • A structured, disciplined approach to pipeline management – someone who keeps CRM updated, forecasts accurately and follows up without being chased.
  • The gravitas and commercial credibility to hold a room with a CFO, CMO or VP of Marketing and earn their trust quickly.
  • Experience selling SEO, PPC, DPR or multi-channel digital – and able to speak with authority about what these channels can and cannot do.

Highly Advantageous

  • Direct experience working in or selling into the iGaming sector: operators, affiliates, platform providers or software suppliers.
  • Experience selling into financial services, fintech, legal or healthcare. Understanding how regulated marketing environments work and what makes a compliant agency pitch credible.
  • An existing profile in one or more of these verticals – known at events, active in industry forums, or with a following among target decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with the agency landscape. Understands how agencies are structured, where margin is made and lost, and how to position against both large networks and boutique specialists.

Compensation & Structure

  • Base salary: £50-£60k
  • Opportunity to earn: Uncapped
  • Full commission breakdown provided at application stage
