Head of GTM

Build the Commercial Engine Behind AI for Real Estate

Location: London, UK (in-office)
Reports to: Founder & CEO

About Smart Bricks

Smart Bricks is the leading Applied AI Lab for global real estate.

Real estate is the largest asset class on earth, and the last one without an AI-native stack. We're building that stack for institutions: proprietary real estate models, 1,000+ specialised AI agents and an execution layer that compresses a six-month investment cycle into minutes.

Every client gets a Client Brain built from their own mandate, methodology and deal history. Every opportunity assembles the right specialist agents for its asset class and market. Every task is routed to the best model for the job, across 30+ frontier models and our own fine-tuned real estate models. The output is finished work an investment committee can act on, delivered inside the systems and formats our clients already use.

We start with institutional investment funds (private equity, REITs, family offices and sovereign wealth) and are expanding across banks, lenders, developers and brokerages, with the aim of owning the full real estate value chain.

We've raised over $5 million, led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), and are backed by some of the world's leading technology ecosystems, including Techstars, Google, NVIDIA and Microsoft through their AI and startup programmes.

Our Founder is a Forbes 30 Under 30 entrepreneur and an Andreessen Horowitz Scout, helping identify and back the next generation of AI founders globally.

We're building our founding leadership team across London, Dubai and San Francisco. We're remote-first with no single HQ: we hire the best people wherever they are, and our teams work together in person from each hub.

This is a chance to join at the earliest stage of building what we believe will be one of the world's leading Applied AI companies for real estate.

Why exceptional operators join us

  • πŸš€ Raised $5M+, led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z)
  • 🀝 Backed by Google, NVIDIA, Microsoft and Techstars
  • 🌍 Building across London, Dubai and San Francisco
  • πŸ’» Remote-first, no single HQ, teams working in person from each hub
  • πŸ† Founder recognised as Forbes 30 Under 30 and an Andreessen Horowitz Scout
  • πŸ€– Building Applied AI with leading institutional real estate organisations
  • πŸ’Ό Own the commercial engine of a new category from day one

Why this role?

We're not hiring a sales manager.

We're hiring the builder who will turn founder-led sales into a repeatable global GTM machine. You'll help decide which customers we pursue, how we position the product, how we enter new markets and how we land the world's largest real estate institutions.

At our stage, that means you could personally close a $250K+ institutional account on Monday, redesign the GTM motion on Tuesday, work with Product on an enterprise requirement on Wednesday, and eventually build the team that makes all of that repeatable.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer β€” it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β€” that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right β€” and where to focus when applying.

You'll work directly with the Founder, Product and Applied AI Lab. If you want a role where your work shows up directly in the company's growth curve, this is it.

What you'll build

GTM strategy

  • Define and execute our global go-to-market across institutional real estate:
    • Identify the highest-value segments across investment firms, asset managers, developers, lenders, brokerages and other major real estate organisations
    • Build market-entry strategies as we scale across the UK and Europe, alongside the GCC and US
    • Turn customer insight into clear decisions on positioning, packaging, pricing and product priorities

Enterprise sales

  • Own the institutional cycle from first conversation through pilot, negotiation, deployment and expansion. Personally originate and close strategic accounts, building relationships with CIOs, Heads of Investment, CEOs and Managing Directors. You'll design a world-class sales process for a category where customers may not yet have a budget line or procurement path.

The revenue engine

  • Build the infrastructure to move from founder-led selling to a scalable GTM organisation:
    • Pipeline management, qualification, forecasting and account planning
    • CRM discipline and revenue reporting
    • Clear metrics across pipeline, conversion, sales velocity, ACV, expansion and retention
    • Repeatable playbooks that scale without losing the quality of our early customer relationships

Strategic partnerships

  • Build relationships with major real estate institutions, technology platforms, data providers and ecosystem partners. Find the partnerships and channels that accelerate distribution, adoption or entry into new markets.

Customer expansion

  • Make sure our largest customers become more embedded over time. Work with Product, Applied AI and Forward Deployment to turn customer requirements into successful deployments, and expand from a single workflow or team into enterprise-wide adoption.

Build the commercial team

  • Recruit and lead exceptional people across enterprise sales, partnerships, revenue operations and customer success as we scale. Set a culture of urgency, accountability and extremely high standards.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 12 months you'll have:

  • Personally closed multiple strategic institutional accounts.
  • Defined and executed our GTM strategy across the GCC, UK and US.
  • Moved Smart Bricks from founder-led sales to a repeatable commercial engine.
  • Built pipeline, forecasting and revenue reporting that the board trusts.
  • Established partnerships that materially expand our distribution.
  • Hired the founding members of the commercial team.
  • Become a trusted partner to the Founder on company strategy.

Success won't be measured by activity or meetings booked. It will be measured by revenue, and by how repeatable the machine is once you've built it.

Who we're looking for

We care more about slope than pedigree. You've built commercial engines, not just operated inside them, and you move naturally between the boardroom and the close.

Specifically, you'll likely have:

  • 7+ years across enterprise technology, AI, SaaS, fintech, proptech, real estate or another complex B2B environment.
  • A track record of personally closing significant enterprise contracts with senior institutional decision-makers.
  • Built or materially scaled a GTM function at a fast-scaling startup or scaleup.
  • Strong commercial judgement across long, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
  • Strong analytical instincts and comfort owning pipeline, forecasting and revenue metrics.
  • The ability to understand technically sophisticated AI products and translate them into clear customer value.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • You're equally comfortable presenting a GTM strategy to the board and spending the afternoon closing a customer. You can walk into a room with the CIO of a global real estate institution, understand how their organisation works, spot where AI creates material value and turn that into a commercial relationship.

Experience in institutional real estate, investment management, financial services or enterprise AI is valuable but not required. We care far more about builders who want to create a category, not just sell into one.

Compensation & Benefits

We believe exceptional people should share in the value they create. You'll receive a highly competitive salary and a meaningful equity package, private healthcare, an annual learning and conference budget, flexible working, and access to the latest AI models and tooling.

How We Work

We hold exceptionally high standards. We start with customer problems, not features, move quickly without compromising quality, default to ownership, challenge assumptions respectfully and stay relentlessly curious. We optimise for outcomes, not process and hierarchy.

Why Join

We move insanely fast, with real rigour and standards, to redefine how AI is brought to market for real assets.

You'll work directly with the Founder, Product and Applied AI Lab, define how a new category of AI software reaches the world's largest real estate organisations, and build the commercial organisation behind a global AI company from London.

If you're the type to get out of bed to build a category, not just sell into one, Smart Bricks is the place for you. We'd love to talk.
