Head of Health & Risk Consulting, UK

Join Aon's Health UK leadership team in a role where you'll influence strategy, lead a high-performing consulting organisation and help clients navigate an increasingly sophisticated risk and health landscape. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from one of our UK offices in line with Aon's Smart Working policy.

What the day will look like

As Head of Health & Risk Consulting, you'll provide strategic leadership for our UK consulting business, working closely with leaders across Health UK and the wider organisation to drive sustainable growth, strengthen our market position and deliver outstanding client outcomes.

You will:

  • Lead the strategic direction and overall performance of the Health & Risk Consulting business across the UK.
  • Take ownership of commercial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, efficiency and client retention.
  • Develop and improve Aon's consulting proposition, bringing together data, insight, technology and innovation to meet evolving client needs.
  • Champion executive-level client relationships, helping clients access the full breadth of Aon's capabilities.
  • Lead organisational transformation and operational excellence initiatives, including the adoption of digital and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Mentor, develop and encourage Regional and Area Directors, building a collaborative and high-performing leadership team.
  • Partner across solution lines and business areas to deliver integrated client solutions and develop new growth opportunities.
  • Represent Aon externally, strengthening our reputation as a trusted adviser and market leader.

You'll work alongside experienced business leaders, client executives and specialists from across Aon's global network, giving you the platform to deliver innovative solutions that combine consulting expertise, market insight, data and technology. With the support of a strong leadership team and access to Aon's broad capabilities, you'll have the chance to create a visible impact on clients, colleagues and the long-term success of the business.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Significant leadership experience within consulting, employee benefits, health, risk management, insurance or professional services.
  • A consistent track record of leading large-scale businesses or functions and delivering sustainable commercial growth.
  • Experience leading P&L performance and driving profitable growth through both client retention and new business development.
  • Strong executive-level relationship management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build collaborative partnerships.
  • Experience leading transformation, developing high-performing teams and fostering an inclusive culture where people can thrive.
