Description
At Vintage.com, we’re building the most trusted platform for pre-loved items. We help people give valuable things a new life, making the experience simple, transparent, and rewarding.
We bring together specialist knowledge, thoughtful technology, and genuine care for our customers. By helping more items stay in circulation, we create value for people and make a positive impact at the same time.
The People Team helps create an environment where people can do their best work, safely and sustainably.
Health & Safety plays a critical role within that. Working closely with leaders, operational teams, and colleagues across the business, you’ll help make sure our workplaces are safe, compliant, and set up to support our continued growth.
You’ll work across a varied multi-site environment, including operational warehouses, production facilities, and offices in the UK, while also partnering with teams across our European locations.
As Head of Health & Safety, you’ll set the direction for health and safety across Vintage.com and make sure strong standards are embedded consistently across our sites.
We operate in fast-moving, hands-on environments, so this role is about much more than policies and compliance. You’ll understand how our sites really operate, identify risks early, put practical controls in place, and build a culture where everyone takes ownership of safety.
You’ll lead our approach across multiple UK sites while helping us develop a joined-up approach across Europe, bringing consistency to how we manage risk, investigate incidents, measure performance, and improve.
Health and safety is consistently embedded into everyday decision-making across our sites.
- Leaders understand their responsibilities and feel confident managing health and safety within their teams.
- Risks are identified early and addressed through practical, proportionate controls.
- Incidents and near misses are investigated thoroughly, with lessons turned into meaningful improvements.
- Health and safety performance is clearly measured, understood, and used to improve how we work across the UK and Europe.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
