The Vacancy

Workspace is home to London’s brightest businesses, and our dedicated Head of Health & Safety plays an integral part in ensuring that Workspace complies with all relevant regulations and maintains a safe working environment.

You will ensure our policies and procedures align with current regulations and oversee the implementation of suitable controls.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating health and safety policies
  • Conducting audits
  • Mitigating risks
  • Collaborating with senior management to design and manage health and safety activities
  • Making recommendations for organisational changes
  • Managing risk registers
  • Providing expert advice on H&S implications

What We Need From You

  • Relevant previous job experience
  • Vocational training – NEBOSH or an NVQ Level 6 Diploma
  • Knowledge of asbestos management processes, preferably holding a BOHS P405 Managing Asbestos in Buildings qualification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with excellent written communication and verbal skills
  • Excellent organisation & time management
  • Previous line management experience
  • Confidence in presenting to stakeholders
