Head of HR | Luxury Retail | London / North West | 5 Days On Site

Zachary Daniels are delighted to be partnering exclusively with an established, family-owned luxury retail business to recruit a Head of HR.

This is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected British brand and lead its people agenda, partnering directly with the Managing Director, family owners, and Executive Leadership Team.

We're particularly interested in speaking to senior HR leaders from the London luxury, premium retail, and hospitality market who would be excited by the opportunity to join a successful family-owned business and have real influence over its future people agenda.

This is a fully on-site leadership role with no home-working element. Whilst the business has a significant presence in London, the Head of HR will be predominantly based from the North West head office five days per week, alongside regular travel to London and across the wider business.

This is a broad role where being present really matters. We're looking for someone who wants to get under the skin of the business, spend time with its people, and understand the personalities and dynamics within the organisation, whilst also shaping the longer-term people strategy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
