My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Head of HR

My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Head of HR to lead and develop a modern, efficient and people-focused HR service across a complex organisation.

This is a great opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys improving processes, working with HR systems and data, and finding smarter ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the HR Operations function.
  • Oversee recruitment, HR administration, learning, payroll, pensions and HR data.
  • Improve HR processes, systems, workflows and automation.
  • Ensure HR policies, governance and compliance remain up to date.
  • Use HR data to improve decision-making and service delivery.
  • Coach and develop HR colleagues.
  • Support the wider People Strategy.

About You

You’ll ideally have:

  • Strong experience in HR Operations, HR Administration or People Services.
  • Good knowledge of employment law, HR policy and compliance.
  • Experience using HR systems and data.
  • A proven track record of improving processes.
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder-management skills.
  • A collaborative and solutions-focused approach.

Experience within education, the public sector or a complex multi-site organisation would be advantageous but is not essential.
