A growing and successful business is seeking an experienced Head of HR to lead and develop its people strategy. Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will take ownership of the full HR function, providing both strategic direction and hands-on operational support across recruitment, employee relations, performance, engagement, talent development, and HR policies.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially-minded HR leader who enjoys working within a dynamic SME environment and can balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the HR function across the business.
- Partner with senior leaders on people strategy and organisational development.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and culture initiatives.
- Oversee employee relations matters and provide expert HR guidance.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support talent acquisition, succession planning, and learning & development.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR governance.
- Deliver HR projects that support business growth and change.

Requirements
- Proven experience leading an HR function.
- Strong generalist HR background.
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law.
- Ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on.
- Previous experience working within an SME environment is highly desirable.
