YOUR ROLE

At CEVA Logistics we are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Head of HSEQ to lead and shape our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality strategy across the UK, Ireland, and Nordics. This is a senior leadership role with the opportunity to drive meaningful change, embed a high-performance culture, and strengthen governance across a complex, multi-site logistics operation.

Within this pivotal role you will act as a strategic partner to the executive team, ensuring HSEQ is fully integrated into business decision-making while maintaining the highest standards of compliance, governance, risk management, and operational excellence.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

As Head of HSEQ, you will spearhead the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust health, safety, environmental, and quality management across a multi-matrix organisation. Your expertise will drive strategic initiatives that enhance workplace safety, environmental stewardship, and service quality, aligning with legal requirements, industry standards, and organisational standards.

  • Develop and deliver a clear HSEQ strategy aligned to business objectives
  • Provide strategic leadership to drive a proactive safety and quality culture
  • Lead, mentor, and develop regional HSEQ teams to ensure consistent performance and engagement
  • Strengthen governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with UK, Irish, and Nordic regulations and standards
  • Oversee risk management processes, including identification, mitigation, and reporting of operational risks
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across safety, environmental performance, and quality systems
  • Act as the senior point of contact for regulatory bodies, audits, and external stakeholders
  • Ensure robust incident investigation processes and the implementation of preventative measures

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

To be successful in your application you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Significant experience in a senior HSEQ leadership role ideally within a 3PL, logistics, or supply chain environment
  • Strong strategic capability, able to influence at executive levels
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a focus on cultural change
  • Expertise in risk management, governance, and compliance frameworks
  • In-depth knowledge of HSEQ legislation and regulatory frameworks across the UK, Ireland, and ideally the Nordics
  • Success in building and leading a highly performing, multi-site and remote team able to implement continuous improvement and engagement.
  • Hold relevant professional qualifications, such as NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
