c. £100,000 Base + Bonus

We're partnering with one of the UK's most recognised media and advertising businesses to appoint a Head of People supporting a major commercial division of approximately 800 employees.

This is a high-profile leadership role sitting on the wider People Leadership Team, partnering directly with senior commercial leaders and influencing people strategy across a fast-paced, revenue-generating area of the business.

The successful individual will lead a team of three and operate across the full spectrum of people leadership, balancing operational excellence with strategic impact.

This is a business-facing role for someone who enjoys being close to the action. Working alongside senior commercial stakeholders, you'll help shape organisation design, drive performance, navigate complex people challenges and ensure the business has the capability and culture required to deliver its growth ambitions.

  • Partner with senior commercial leaders to deliver people strategy aligned to business objectives.
  • Lead and develop a team of People Partners, creating a high-performing and customer-focused function.
  • Coach, influence and challenge leaders on organisational effectiveness, talent and performance.
  • Lead complex employee relations and organisational change activity.
  • Support talent planning, succession, leadership development and workforce planning initiatives.
  • Use people data and insight to drive informed decision-making.
  • Act as a key member of the wider People Leadership Team, contributing to broader people priorities across the organisation.
  • Drive engagement, culture and continuous improvement initiatives.

We're looking for an experienced Head of People, Senior People Partner or HR Business Partner with the credibility and presence to influence senior stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.

More about you:

  • Strong generalist HR leadership experience.
  • The ability to build trust whilst confidently challenging and influencing decision making.
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence and judgement.
  • Experience managing complex people issues with calmness and pragmatism.
  • A commercial mindset and genuine understanding of how people strategy supports business performance.
  • Experience leading and developing HR teams.
  • A track record of delivering at pace and thriving in changing environments.
  • Strong organisational design, employee relations and talent management capability.
