Head of People & Culture
On behalf of a rapidly growing and highly successful boutique law firm, we are seeking a visionary Head of People & Culture for a newly created strategic leadership position.
This firm boasts a fantastic, highly collaborative culture. As they embark on a significant phase of strategic expansion, this pivotal role has been designed to ensure the firm scales successfully while fiercely protecting the supportive, inclusive roots that make it a truly exceptional place to work.
Sitting on the Management Committee, the successful candidate will have a genuine seat at the table, working closely with Equity Partners and Heads of Business Services to shape the firm's future organisational evolution.
Key Strategic Responsibilities
- Culture & Well-being: Foster and protect an environment centred on collaboration, inclusion, and high performance.
- Talent & Leadership: Design and implement forward-thinking talent management, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
- Stakeholder Advisory: Act as a trusted partner to the partner group, driving organisational change and influencing key business decisions.
- Modernising Infrastructure: Advance HR operations, maintaining robust policies, modern systems, and data-driven people metrics to support commercial decisions.
- Performance & Reward: Elevate engagement and internal communication while leading performance review, promotion, and salary cycles.

The Ideal Profile
- Professional Services Background: Significant senior HR leadership experience, ideally gained within a law firm, partnership environment, or professional services structure.
- Expert Influencer: Exceptional relationship-building skills with a proven ability to navigate partnership dynamics, gain executive buy-in, and advise senior stakeholders.
- Change Specialist: Deep understanding of organizational change, modern employment legislation, and strategic talent cultivation.
- Commercial et Empathetic: A leader who balances astute commercial acumen with a people-first, approachable leadership style.
