We're recruiting on behalf of our client, a private equity-backed financial planning business experiencing a period of rapid growth, who are looking for an experienced Head of Talent to take ownership of their hiring agenda.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Talent professional who wants to build a talent function rather than inherit one. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll shape the talent strategy, personally lead senior and hard-to-fill searches, advise senior stakeholders and introduce the processes, systems and standards needed to support the company's next phase of growth.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong track record in talent acquisition, executive search or recruitment leadership
  • Experience within a high-growth, entrepreneurial or scale-up environment
  • Proven experience hiring across a broad range of disciplines and seniority levels, including leadership and hard-to-fill roles
  • Experience partnering directly with CEOs, senior leaders and hiring managers
  • Strong knowledge of structured interviewing, assessment, sourcing strategy, employer brand and recruitment data
  • Confidence challenging stakeholders and influencing hiring decisions
  • A genuinely hands-on approach, personally leading important searches rather than managing solely through a large internal team or agency network
  • Experience developing talent strategies and building scalable recruitment processes
  • Commercially minded, proactive and solutions-focused
  • Excellent communication skills and credibility with stakeholders at all levels
