Head of HR
Our client, a leading London law firm, is seeking an experienced Head of HR to join the firm in a newly created leadership role.

The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of HR to lead the development of the firm's people strategy, culture and organisational development agenda.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Set the strategic direction for the people function, working closely with the leadership team to anticipate future workforce requirements, organisational needs and leadership succession
- Translate workforce data and people metrics into practical insight to support business planning and talent-related decisions
- Act as a trusted adviser to Partners and senior managers on employee performance, career development and a broad range of people-related matters
- Partner with the business through periods of organisational development, transformation and expansion, ensuring people considerations are embedded into wider business plans
- Own key talent pipelines, including experienced hire recruitment, early careers programmes and longer-term succession strategies
- Build leadership capability while promoting a positive employee experience, strong engagement and a sustainable approach to employee wellbeing
- Coordinate the annual people cycle, including performance management, career progression, promotions, remuneration and benefits
- Provide expert advice on complex employee relations issues, ensuring decisions are commercially appropriate and aligned with current employment legislation
- Review and enhance HR frameworks, processes and systems to ensure they remain effective, consistent and fit for the organisation’s evolving needs
- Champion initiatives that support an inclusive, diverse and high-performing culture, embedding these principles throughout the employee lifecycle
- Develop and present clear, commercially relevant people reporting and analysis to give senior stakeholders greater visibility of workforce trends and priorities
