Head of Inclusion - Assistant Headteacher

We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for an Head of Inclusion to join our Senior Leadership Team at Roberts Primary School. This is a non-class-based leadership role in the first instance, providing the opportunity to work strategically across the school to ensure that every child is supported, included and able to thrive.
Following our recently positive Ofsted inspection, where leadership was recognised as strong, we are looking for an inspirational and proactive leader who is passionate about teaching and learning, is a strong advocate for children and is committed to securing the very best outcomes for every pupil.
You will work closely with our Senior Leadership Team and have your own team which includes a dedicated SEND intervention teacher, who is also a qualified SENDCO. The SEND intervention teacher leads on areas including EHCP assessments, interventions and annual reviews. This collaborative approach provides an exciting opportunity to develop and strengthen our inclusive practice while maintaining a clear focus on high-quality teaching and learning. You will also form part of a wider team including an experienced pastoral lead and learning mentor.

There is also an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to play a key role in the development of an on-site specialist provision/resource base, as part of a wider project being developed in partnership with the local authority.
