Reports to: CEO
Line management: Income Generation team, including volunteers and freelance team members
Location: Remote [UK-based London or Essex preferred]
Working hours: Part time, 21 hours - 3 days per week
About Transforming Autism
Transforming Autism is a charity committed to making a lifelong difference for autistic children and their families. We are looking for a strategic, commercially minded and relationship-focused Head of Income Generation to help us grow sustainable income and increase our impact.
This is an exciting senior leadership opportunity for an experienced fundraiser who can develop strong funding propositions, build high-value partnerships and lead a small, dynamic team to deliver ambitious income growth.
The Role
- Develop and deliver a robust income generation strategy aligned with organisational priorities and future growth.
- Lead fundraising planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting, ensuring income targets and KPIs are achieved.
- Identify and secure new income streams across trusts and foundations, statutory funding, corporate partnerships, philanthropy, trading, services and community fundraising.
- Create compelling cases for support, funding pitches and donor propositions that inspire partners and funders.
- Build and steward strong relationships with funders, donors, partners and stakeholders.
- Lead, support and develop the Income Generation team, including volunteers and freelance team members.
- Represent the charity professionally and consistently to funders, partners and wider audiences.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation as part of the leadership team.

About you
- Proven experience designing, delivering and achieving ambitious income growth strategies.
- A strong track record of securing five- and six-figure partnerships, including multi-year support.
- Experience developing high-value relationships with trusts, philanthropists, statutory bodies and corporate partners.
- Strong understanding of charitable income streams, including individual giving, major donors, trading and product development.
- Excellent project management, budget management and organisational skills.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience supporting people to perform, learn and improve.
- Commercial awareness, creativity and confidence to test new ideas and develop sustainable income opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex projects clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
- A collaborative, flexible and accountable approach, with a commitment to safeguarding, equality and diversity.
