Head of Industrial Agency / Director
Hertfordshire & London
£60,000 basic + attractive and uncapped commission and bonus structure.
About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an established Industrial Agent who wants to get away from the constraints of a large corporate and join a successful, ambitious independent business where you can make a real impact. Our client is a respected and growing independent consultancy with a great team, strong reputation and an entrepreneurial approach to doing business. They are now looking for a senior industrial specialist to lead and grow their Industrial Agency offering.
The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of Industrial Agency, focusing primarily on London, Hertfordshire, Essex and key North and West London markets. The role will predominantly cover leasing and disposals, alongside occupier work, acquisitions and identifying off-market opportunities. You’ll have the autonomy to develop the business in your own way, working alongside an experienced and commercially minded team without layers of corporate structure or unnecessary bureaucracy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
