Company Description
Bruumi is a newly formed motor finance lender headquartered in Birmingham, focused on creating innovative and responsible vehicle finance solutions. As a growing organization, Bruumi is actively building its proposition with the goal of launching to the market in late 2026. Team members will have the opportunity to contribute directly to core products, processes, and customer experience during this formative stage. The environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and suited to individuals who enjoy shaping new initiatives and working across functions. Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role, offering the opportunity to help define and deliver Bruumi’s motor finance proposition. Day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Supporting the development of lending processes
- Assisting with documentation and reporting
- Collaborating with colleagues in operations and risk
- Providing administrative and customer-focused support as needed

The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth workflows, accurate data handling, and consistent customer communication. The successful candidate will be expected to follow established policies while also contributing ideas to improve efficiency and customer experience as the business prepares for launch.

Qualifications
- Experience or strong interest in financial services, banking, or motor finance, with an understanding of lending principles and customer lifecycle.
- Solid administrative and organizational skills, including attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, colleagues, and external partners.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, CRM or workflow systems) and a willingness to learn new platforms.
- Problem-solving mindset and analytical abilities to identify issues, interpret information, and suggest practical improvements.
- Ability to work effectively on-site in a team environment, demonstrating reliability, collaboration, and respect for diverse perspectives.
- Prior experience in a startup, scale-up, or rapidly changing environment is beneficial, as is experience in motor trade or consumer credit.
- Relevant education such as a qualification in business, finance, or a related field is advantageous, though equivalent practical experience will be considered.
