Head of IT (Contract) – Contemporary Fashion Brand
📍 London | Office-based 4 days per week | Retail infrastructure & security
We’re working with a contemporary fashion brand in London that’s looking for an experienced Head of IT (Contract) to lead a series of high-impact infrastructure and security projects.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll have real influence over how the technology estate evolves as the brand grows. You’ll be the person bringing structure, resilience and modern best practice into a fast-moving retail business.

- Owning a portfolio of infrastructure and security initiatives across the UK business.
- Assessing the current IT landscape and setting a clear improvement roadmap.
- Leading projects across networks, cloud, end-user computing and business continuity.
- Strengthening security – access, policies, controls and supplier risk.
- Working closely with retail, head office and operations teams to make sure IT genuinely supports trading and growth.
- Managing external vendors and MSPs to drive better performance and delivery.
Who this will suit
- A Head of IT / IT Director / senior infrastructure leader with strong retail sector experience.
- Someone who has delivered infrastructure and cyber/security projects across multiple retail or consumer brands.
- A leader who’s comfortable mixing big-picture thinking with hands-on delivery and clear communication to non-technical stakeholders.
- Someone who enjoys being in the office, close to the action – this role is London-based, minimum 4 days per week on site.
