Head of Technology
Location: Outskirts of Edinburgh
Salary: Competitive + Excellent Benefits
Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Technology to lead their IT, cyber security, and digital transformation strategy. This senior leadership role will be responsible for the overall technology function, ensuring secure, reliable, and innovative technology services that support business growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the organisation's technology and cyber security strategy.
- Oversee cloud platforms, IT infrastructure, Microsoft 365, Azure, and associated security technologies.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives and technology change programmes.
- Ensure compliance with recognised security frameworks and industry best practices.
- Manage IT service delivery, infrastructure, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
- Lead, develop, and mentor the IT team.
- Provide strategic technology guidance and reporting to senior leadership.

About You
- Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, such as Head of Technology, Head of IT, IT Manager, or similar.
- Strong understanding of cyber security, IT governance, and risk management.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and modern security tools.
- Track record of delivering technology transformation and business improvement projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable
- Professional security qualifications such as CISSP or similar.
- Experience with ERP platforms, including Dynamics 365 or Business Central.
- Knowledge of AI technologies, governance, and emerging technology trends.
