What The Day Will Look Like
As Head of Infrastructure, EMEA, you will own the strategy, delivery and continuous improvement of infrastructure services across the region. Working closely with business and technology leaders, we will drive operational excellence while advancing cloud, data and AI capabilities that support Aon's evolving technology landscape.
You Will
- Define and implement the EMEA infrastructure strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and global technology objectives.
- Lead infrastructure, cloud, data centre and operational transformation initiatives, driving simplification, standardisation, resilience and service improvement.
- Build, develop and inspire high-performing teams across the region, encouraging a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous learning.
- Be responsible for the delivery and governance of technology services, ensuring strong performance across incident, problem, change, availability, capacity and continuity management processes.
- Sponsor major infrastructure modernisation programmes, including cloud migration, data centre transformation and AI-enabled operational capabilities.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across EMEA and globally, providing strategic guidance, governance oversight and leadership through complex change initiatives.
- Drive supplier management, financial governance, risk management and operational controls to ensure secure, resilient and cost-effective technology services.
- Drive and lead regional and/or global technology initiatives to get to Aon’s target state technology, product and infrastructure target state.
- Enable AI to meet the requirements of the region as business and colleagues in the region from a tech and infrastructure perspective.
- Transform the operating model to take advantage of global capabilities and standards while also reviewing and meeting the regional requirements from a risk, compliance, data localization, client or privacy perspective.

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success
- Significant experience leading enterprise-scale infrastructure, cloud and technology operations functions within a complex, multinational environment.
- Proven success delivering large-scale infrastructure transformation programmes, including cloud adoption, data centre modernisation, service standardisation and operational improvement initiatives.
- Strong leadership experience leading geographically distributed teams and developing inclusive, high-performing cultures.
- Experience with designing and implementing operating models in evolving environments, optimising collaboration between internal and supplier teams.
- Deep understanding of service management, operational governance, technology risk, security, resilience and supplier management practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders and translate technology strategy into measurable business outcomes.
- Financial management experience with multi-country P&L alignment.
