About the Role
We're looking for an experienced insight leader to head up a talented team, delivering high-quality research and evidence that informs decisions and drives meaningful change. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a strategic insight and evidence function, champion innovation and help shape how research is used to understand and improve people's experiences of transport.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of insight and evidence managers, inspiring high standards and supporting their professional growth.
- Oversee a diverse portfolio of qualitative and quantitative research, ensuring robust methods, quality and ethical standards.
- Turn complex data and research into compelling stories, actionable insight and evidence that influences strategic decisions.
- Bring together research, data and wider evidence sources to deliver a richer understanding of the issues that matter.
- Drive innovation in research methods, output design and the use of AI.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, external partners and suppliers, communicating findings with clarity and impact.
- Help shape priorities, respond to emerging developments and champion continuous improvement.

About You
You'll be an established insight or research leader with experience managing complex projects and programmes, alongside a strong track record of developing and motivating teams.
