We're Hiring: Head of Insurance | London
We're looking for an ambitious Head of Insurance to lead from the front and take ownership of our growing insurance desk in our London office.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-growth market, with the autonomy to shape the desk, drive performance, and make a real impact. As the head of insurance, you will support the full recruitment cycle, with how to build client relationships, source candidates, and manage the hiring process from start to finish. You’ll work closely with the team to support them in their development whilst also, contributing to successful placements and revenue growth.
Insurance has been a core part of the Venquis service offering since the business was launched in 2011 and we are giving someone the opportunity to pick up with this legacy and provide shape to it as it evolves.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
