The Role:
As the Head of Integrated Solutions, you will lead the commercial strategy, team, and operational growth of our Integrated Solutions division. Your core purpose is securing, expanding, and retaining profitable supply and service partnerships across housing associations, local authorities with Direct Labour Organisations (DLOs), and the wider public sector. This national role is critical in advancing our mission to make homes, businesses, and lives better by driving tailored solutions, championing exceptional service for housing providers, and ensuring we remain the partner of choice for the public sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the commercial strategy, team, and operational growth of Integrated Solutions.
- Secure, expand, and retain profitable supply and service partnerships across housing associations, local authorities with Direct Labour Organisations (DLOs), and the wider public sector.
- Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team, including Business Development Managers, Account Managers, and Bid & Estimating teams.
- Manage the Opex budget for the division and provide P&L oversight for public sector managed accounts and frameworks.
- Deliver against revenue targets, gross/net profit margins, client retention rates, public sector tender win-rates, and contract SLA/KPI delivery performance.

You:
Reporting directly to senior leadership, as our Head of Integrated Solutions, you will drive our commercial strategy and operational growth, empower your multi-disciplinary team, and deliver profitable supply and service partnerships across the public sector through our core behaviours, acting with honesty and integrity in everything you do.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proven sales and commercial leadership within the plumbing, heating, or building materials merchant sector.
- Demonstrated success in winning, managing, and retaining public sector and housing association supply contracts, with preferred experience operating within or partnering with DLOs.
- Strong contract negotiation and commercial risk management skills, combined with deep expertise in public procurement rules, frameworks (e.g., Procurement Act), and complex tender structures.
- Exceptional team management, coaching, and motivational skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of public sector drivers, including decarbonisation, operative productivity, first-time fix rates, ESG, and Social Value.
- CIPS, APMP, or CMI professional qualifications, alongside working knowledge of IT/EDI integration methods between merchant ERPs and housing maintenance management platforms, and van stock management.
