Head of Integrations – SaaS / Software

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head of Integrations to join a pioneering software company that is transforming how global enterprises leverage cutting-edge technologies. This innovative business, backed by top-tier investors and recognised among the world’s most promising AI companies, is expanding their technical team to support continued growth and success.

They are looking for an experienced technical leader to take full ownership of integrations with third-party systems. This is a hands-on, client-facing role ideal for someone who can combine deep technical knowledge with excellent communication and leadership skills to optimise client implementations. Note this is an individual contributor role – leading clients opposed to team leadership.

Location

  • London office (3 days in office) or option to be based from the Cambridge office

Salary

  • Negotiable basic salary + excellent benefits package

Requirements for Head of Integrations

  • Significant commercial experience in SaaS companies, in a role relating to Software Integrations into customers
  • A strong academic history (2.1/1st top Uni, A’s at A Level etc) – the management team is made up of some of the brightest minds in AI (many with Ph.D.s from internationally leading Unis), so they need someone who can technically joust at this level
  • Proven track record in software development, system integrations, and creating developer resources such as APIs, SDKs, and technical documentation.
  • Strong experience across Integrations, Full Stack Web Development, and Cloud Architecture
  • Proficiency with one or more of the following technologies: JavaScript, NodeJS, Python (or equivalent modern frameworks/languages).
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to a range of audiences.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management, attention to detail, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, innovative environment with shifting priorities and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities for Head of Integrations

The dream is to reach the pinnacle of Software Integrations, where customers can see this happen seamlessly with the touch of a button (we appreciate not an easy task!). To start making steps on this journey, the successful applicant will:

  • Take complete ownership of integration processes with external systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Create robust, innovative technologies for optimised client implementations.
  • Collaborate closely with Client Solutions and other internal teams to fully understand client requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions.
  • Design and implement scalable, future-proof architectures for new third-party connectors and integrations.
  • Enhance system observability by improving diagnostics, logging, and tracing to aid technical support teams in resolving issues swiftly.
  • Oversee the ongoing development and management of the public API, covering REST and event streaming functionality to support bespoke client integrations.
  • Produce comprehensive technical documentation for both internal stakeholders and external users, leveraging tools like Swagger for clarity and accessibility.
  • Drive the development of ‘self-serve’ capabilities to empower clients to independently manage their integrations wherever possible.
