Head of International Sales

Mossburn Distillers

Location: UK-based, with flexible working and extensive international travel
Reports to: CEO, Mossburn Distillers & Marussia Beverages, UK
Contract: Permanent - Full-time

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Mossburn Distillers is a fast-growing, ambitious Scotch malt whisky company with a portfolio of distinctive brands: Torabhaig, our award-winning single malt distillery; Mossburn Whiskies, our independently bottled single malt and blended malt range; and Caisteal Chamuis, our peated blended malt Scotch whisky. Mossburn Distillers is part of the wider, Swedish, family-owned Marussia Group, giving the company the backing of an established international business alongside the agility and entrepreneurial spirit of a growing whisky company.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Head of International Sales to lead the next phase of our international growth. This is a high-impact leadership role with responsibility for shaping and delivering our ambitious export strategy. The role will focus on driving expansion across new international markets and travel retail, whilst also supporting and developing our more established markets. (US, FR, GER, NED, JAP)

VALUES & MOTIVATIONS

OWNERSHIP

We set the direction together, then trust you to decide how it gets delivered. Working closely with the CEO on strategy and targets, you will have real say over the markets, partners and tactics that get us there, and you will own the results.

PASSION

It starts with the liquid. Torabhaig's Sound of Sleat was named #9 in Whisky Advocate's Top 20 Whiskies of 2025, and Allt Gleann took Gold at the IWSC in 2024. We are looking for someone as passionate about whisky as we are, and ready to champion our brands wherever they go.

CREATIVITY

As a smaller, independent business, we move quickly and can think on our feet. Ideas are heard, decisions are made faster, and there is real scope to shape your strategy of how our brands reach new markets.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
