I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

If you've worked in a role where you translated partnership strategy into measurable commercial results, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to connect long-term strategic thinking with commercial execution, while influencing outcomes across a complex organisation.
Life on the team
You'll join Markets & Channels Central Marketing, where we help bring together commercial opportunities, audience needs and partner ambitions. Our work is collaborative by nature and relies on strong relationships across the business. We value thoughtful decision-making, clear communication and a leadership style that creates direction, develops capability and helps talented colleagues do their best work. Our hybrid rhythm combines focused individual work with opportunities to come together and solve challenges as a team.
What success looks like
Success isn't defined by the number of partnerships you manage. It's defined by the commercial value those partnerships create. Over the next 12 to 18 months, you'll establish a clear roadmap for how the LEGO Group approaches commercial IP partnerships, strengthen strategic partnerships with key collaborators and help teams make more confident decisions about where and how to invest. You'll work closely with planning teams, Market Groups, Consumer teams and senior leaders to ensure partnership opportunities are translated into meaningful business outcomes.
