Head of IT Location: Hybrid - Glasgow Employment Type: Permanent
Are you an experienced IT Manager, Applications Manager, or Senior IT Project Manager ready to take the step up into IT leadership?
Anderson Frank is partnering exclusively with a leading international agricultural commodity trading and logistics business to appoint their new Head of IT at their Glasgow office. This is a genuine opportunity for an ambitious, business-facing IT professional to step into a leadership role and shape the technology direction of a growing, international business that moves goods across Europe every day.
The Role
- Take ownership of IT strategy and delivery across the business
- Lead on ERP and core business systems, ideally with exposure to Dynamics 365 / AX
- Champion data, reporting, AI and wider digital transformation initiatives
- Work closely with senior stakeholders and leadership to understand processes, identify improvements, and drive meaningful change - this is about far more than keeping the lights on
- Build and develop the wider IT function as the business grows

What We're Looking For
- Currently an IT Manager, IT Lead, Applications Manager, Senior IT Project Manager or Business Systems Manager, ready for your next step
- Strong background in ERP and business systems
- Comfortable working with data, reporting and emerging technologies including AI
- A confident communicator who can engage credibly with senior leadership
- Commercially minded, with a genuine interest in how technology drives business outcomes, not just how it's implemented

The Details
- Glasgow-based, 2–3 days onsite per week
- Circa £80k basic with bonus
