Head of IT
I am actively seeking an experienced Head of IT to lead and develop the technology function within a growing, multi-national manufacturing business.
Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the organisation's IT strategy, ensuring secure, reliable and scalable technology services that support business growth, operational efficiency and digital transformation. You will lead a team of IT professionals while working closely with stakeholders across the business to identify opportunities for innovation, automation and process improvement.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Developing and executing the IT roadmap aligned to business objectives.
- Leading digital transformation, systems integration and automation initiatives.
- Driving the ongoing development and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and associated 3rd party integrations (e.g., Tasklet).
- Overseeing IT operations, infrastructure, cloud services, business continuity and service delivery.
- Managing IT projects, suppliers, contracts and technology budgets.
- Building a high-performing IT team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Suitable candidates will be able to provide:
- A proven track record as Head of IT/ Senior IT Manager; leading IT application and infrastructure functions.
- Dynamics 365 Business Central/ ERP system implementation and improvement experience.
- Experience implementing AI automation solutions to drive business efficiency (Power Platform familiarity preferable).
- Experience managing IT within a Manufacturing/ Production environment (preferable).
- Expertise and understanding across wider Microsoft technology landscape; coordinating digital transformation programmes and initiatives.
- Demonstrable experience in the development and delivery of a strategic IT roadmap and digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong communication/ stakeholder engagement to executive level.

The role operates a hybrid working model, with client HQ in Lincolnshire, and other sites across the UK - with regular travel expected; project phase dependant.
