The Head Office is based on-site, within The Pembroke and represents the department responsible for leading and supporting with administration of the club's daily duties.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Head of IT & Systems will be responsible for managing the club’s IT infrastructure and systems, ensuring their reliability, security, and efficiency. This role involves overseeing the implementation and maintenance of technology solutions, supporting daily operations, and ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally to meet the needs of the club. You will work closely with the executive team to align IT strategies with organisational goals, manage IT projects, and support the technological needs of all departments. Your expertise will ensure that our IT infrastructure supports the club’s operations and enhances the overall member experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the management, maintenance, and optimisation of IT infrastructure and systems, including hardware, software, and network components.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure data security, compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Management of IT support services and 3rd party service partners, including troubleshooting, issue resolution and user support.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify technology needs and implement appropriate solutions.
- Oversee IT projects, including system upgrades, installations, and integrations, ensuring timely and successful execution.
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure the security of IT systems and data, including implementing measures to protect against cyber threats and data breaches.
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
- Prepare and manage the IT budget, including cost control and financial planning.
- Conduct regular system audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide training and support to staff on IT systems and best practices.

REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT management or a related field, with significant experience in managing IT infrastructure and systems.
- Proven experience in overseeing IT projects and managing technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and train staff on IT systems.
- Experience in managing IT budgets and vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in IT management software and tools.
- Ability to adapt to changing technology and organisational needs in a dynamic environment.

LEADERSHIP & COLLABORATION
- Lead, inspire and develop the IT team, setting clear directives and goals to be achieved to support IT systems for a high performing, member-first culture.
- Collaborate closely with the senior management team to ensure that there is a proactive, collaborative solution driven IT provision in place.
- Work with Operations, Membership, Reservations, F&B and Events teams to ensure seamless member experiences and consistent delivery of the Club's standards.
- Report directly to the Club Director with regular service delivery updates, KPIs and Cyber Security & Compliance metrics.
REQUIREMENTS
- Management level experience within a luxury hospitality / club environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with CRM software and membership management systems is desirable.
- Knowledge of IT Hospitality systems – Web / Apps Development, CRM, ePOS, Finance, Bookings systems.
- Strong knowledge of IT Risk / Security management and IT compliance (CE & ISO27001.
