Head of IT Operations

Greater London | Hybrid (2-3 days onsite) | Salary to be discussed

We're looking for a strong Head of IT Operations to join a well-established retail brand, who will lead across a broad IT operations function.

Reporting to the IT Director, you'll be responsible for infrastructure, networks, cyber security, end-user computing, and service delivery. A key focus of the role will be shaping and delivering the organisation's IT outsourcing strategy, including vendor selection, governance, and supplier management.

We're looking for someone who has successfully led an outsourcing programme and can provide strategic oversight across the technology landscape whilst ensuring operational excellence.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience leading an IT Operations function
  • Proven track record delivering outsourcing initiatives
  • Strong vendor selection and supplier management experience
  • Broad knowledge of infrastructure, networking, and cyber security
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working within Microsoft-focused environments

This role requires a visible, hands-on leader who enjoys developing teams, building stakeholder relationships, and driving change within a hybrid working environment.

Retail, FMCG, or multi-site business experience would be advantageous.
