KEY PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As Head of Legal, you will be the sole in-house legal resource at Bremont, providing hands-on, commercially focused legal support across the UK, US, Australia, and Hong Kong. This is a genuinely standalone role, and you will own the legal function entirely, operating with a high degree of autonomy and using your influencing skills to build trusted relationships across the business without a team behind you. This is a genuinely hands-on role, as the sole legal resource in the business, you will be as comfortable handling day-to-day contract admin and legal housekeeping as you are advising at a strategic level.

You will play a key role in reducing our reliance on external legal providers by building in-house capability, implementing scalable legal processes, and helping the business navigate risk as we expand globally. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives on independence, enjoys variety, and wants to shape the legal function from the ground up in a fast-growing British luxury consumer brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the review, negotiation, and drafting of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, retail/distribution contracts, influencer/ambassador deals, and licensing arrangements.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on legal issues across multiple jurisdictions, including commercial, corporate, IP, the ability to prioritise and work independently is essential.
  • Support international operations by ensuring legal and regulatory compliance in the UK, US, Australia, and Hong Kong, working with local advisers where needed.
  • Develop and implement internal legal processes, templates, and training to improve efficiency and reduce external legal spend.
  • Assist with brand protection, including trademark management and enforcement, and support on IP-related queries.
  • Provide guidance on marketing, e-commerce, and consumer law compliance.
  • Liaise with external counsel where specialist support is required, managing quality and cost.
  • Influence and engage stakeholders across all levels of the business from the C-Suite to operational teams, building credibility and trust to ensure legal considerations are embedded into business decisions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
