Chartered Legal Executive - Probate Practitioner

An opportunity has arisen for a qualified legal professional to lead the legal department at a well-established legal services company based in Dawlish. This role offers the chance to manage a caseload of private client matters whilst overseeing a small team in a dynamic and growing firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, supervise, and evaluate a small legal team.
  • Manage a personal caseload of private client matters, including drafting Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and handling Trust and Estate Administration.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal procedures.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to deliver a consistently high standard of service.
  • Organise workloads efficiently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Contribute to the department’s growth and development by supporting junior staff and enhancing team knowledge.
  • Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support clients effectively.

Desirable Experience

  • Qualified Chartered Legal Executive, Probate Practitioner, or Junior Solicitor.
  • Consideration will be given to experienced Paralegals or part-qualified professionals looking to complete their training.
  • Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively.
