Global Head of Legal Operations

A leading international consumer products and ingredients business is seeking a Global Head of Legal Operations to build and lead a modern legal operations function on a global scale.

This is a rare opportunity to create a legal operations capability from the ground up, with strong executive sponsorship and significant scope to shape strategy, technology adoption, AI implementation, service delivery and operational excellence across a global legal, compliance and governance function.

The opportunity

You will:

  • Develop and deliver the legal operations strategy and roadmap
  • Design and optimise legal service delivery models across multiple jurisdictions
  • Lead legal technology and AI transformation initiatives
  • Drive process improvement, automation and operational efficiency
  • Build data, reporting and KPI frameworks to demonstrate value and performance
  • Manage legal spend, external counsel programmes and vendor relationships
  • Lead change management, adoption and capability-building initiatives
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across legal, IT, procurement, data privacy and the wider business

About you

You are likely to bring:

  • Experience in legal operations, legal transformation or legal technology leadership
  • A track record of delivering complex technology implementations and change programmes
  • Experience with legal technology platforms such as CLM, matter management, e-billing or compliance tools
  • Strong understanding of AI and its practical application within legal functions
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Experience operating within complex, international organisations
