Join Scissero – The Law Firm of the Future

About Us

Scissero is an AI-enhanced legal services company built for financial institutions. We combine expert legal support with intelligent automation, transforming how transactional law is delivered.

We’re not a traditional law firm. We are a diverse and globally distributed team of lawyers, engineers, and innovators working across the U.S, EMEA, and APAC. We believe technology augments, not replaces legal expertise. Our culture values collaboration, inclusivity, and flexibility.

Position Overview

As Head of Legal Operations for the UK, you will be the Global Head of Legal Operations’ right hand in the region – owning how the global operating model runs on the ground in the UK. Working as a local extension of that role, you will translate global standards, priorities, and decisions into operational reality for the UK, and feed local insight, risk, and performance data back up so the Global Head has full visibility and can make better global decisions.

You will own workload and capacity planning, SLA and quality performance tracking, resourcing, vendor and technology adoption, and playbook and template implementation within the UK, always in line with the global framework set by the Global Head of Legal Operations. You will partner with local Sales and Account Management, escalate risk and capacity constraints early, and act as the Global Head’s trusted regional partner – someone they can hand any part of the operating model to and know it will be run to the same standard as everywhere else.

You will lead adoption of our proprietary AI-enabled platform within the UK, driving operational efficiency across document review, deviation identification, and playbook application, and you will own the local data and reporting that feeds into the global reporting suite.

You will also manage hiring, resourcing, and performance for the UK legal operations team, and embed Scissero’s values - Curiosity, Excellence, Client-Centered, Global Collaboration, Ownership, Innovation, and Agility - in how the function operates day to day in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Operating Model & Delivery

  • Own execution of the global operating model – processes, systems, and workflows – acting as the Global Head’s primary point of accountability and delivery in the UK.
  • Own workload, capacity, and resourcing planning for the UK, ensuring the team can meet demand and scale to support new and growing accounts.
  • Track and report SLA performance, quality metrics, turnaround times, and delivery cost for the UK, escalating operational risk to the Global Head of Legal Operations before it affects clients or revenue.
  • Implement and maintain global playbooks, templates, precedents, and workflows within the UK.
  • Identify and lead UK process improvement, automation, and scalability initiatives, escalating those with global relevance to the Global Head of Legal Operations for wider rollout.
  • Manage local use of the legal technology stack and vendor relationships, in coordination with the Global Head of Legal Operations and the central technology roadmap.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
