THE COMPANY

Established in 1998, JSM Group is a leading specialist infrastructure engineering company. We design and install the complex power networks, digital infrastructure and specialist systems a future-focused worldwide marketplace needs.

From High-Power grid connections to Critical Utilities. Data Centres to Renewable Energy, our full turnkey solution teams manage the full scope to help advise and deliver complex infrastructure projects at speed, on time and with reduced legislation, technical and commercial risks.

THE TEAM

At JSM Group, our Commercial & Contracts team play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of infrastructure projects across the UK. As the business continues to grow, we’re now looking for a Head of Legal with a strong commercial mindset and background in infrastructure, utilities, or construction. This is a key role that will help shape how we manage contractual risk, support strategic decision-making, and keep our projects on track.

SCOPE OF ROLE

Reporting to the Group Legal Director but embedded within our operational and commercial functions, you will act as a trusted advisor on contract and risk matters. You’ll work closely with project teams, supply chain partners, and senior leadership to ensure that contracts are clearly understood, effectively managed, and aligned to business objectives. The role is based at our Potters Bar Head Office with hybrid working.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
