Head of LegalTech and Innovation - £120-150k - London/Hybrid

We are currently partnered with a leading international law firm to recruit for a Head of LegalTech and Innovation.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced innovation, transformation or legal technology professional to drive firm-wide change, AI adoption and innovation strategy within a highly regarded professional services environment. Hybrid working (3 days per week in London) and a salary of £120,000-£150,000 are on offer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing innovation and change function.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to shape and deliver innovation, AI and transformation strategies.
  • Oversee a portfolio of legal technology, AI and business improvement initiatives.
  • Drive engagement, adoption and change management across the business.
  • Establish governance, delivery frameworks and prioritisation processes for innovation programmes.
  • Manage vendor relationships, technology evaluations and pilot projects.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the organisation.

About You

  • Significant experience leading innovation, transformation, legal technology or change functions within legal or professional services environments.
  • Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and delivering strategic change programmes.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex project portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies and their practical application in professional services.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, Claude or similar enterprise AI solutions.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
