The Role
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to build something from the ground up. As our Head of Lettings, you won't be stepping into an established department and maintaining the status quo. You'll be creating one. From processes and systems to landlord relationships and team culture, this role is yours to define.
Alongside leading the lettings function, you'll have a genuine seat at the table when it comes to wider agency strategy. We want someone who thinks beyond their own department and has a real interest in where the business is heading.

What You'll Be Doing
- Establishing and leading Rowe & Co's lettings department, building it into a profitable and well-regarded arm of the business
- Developing and implementing lettings processes, compliance frameworks, and operational systems
- Growing our landlord portfolio through proactive business development and relationship-building across Hampshire
- Recruiting, developing, and leading a lettings team as the department grows
- Managing the full lettings lifecycle, from valuations and marketing through to tenancy management and renewals
- Ensuring full compliance with current lettings legislation and staying ahead of regulatory changes
- Collaborating with the wider leadership team to contribute to the agency's strategic direction and growth plans
- Representing Rowe & Co at its best in every landlord and tenant interaction
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in residential lettings, ideally at a senior or management level
- A strong understanding of lettings legislation and compliance requirements
- A natural relationship-builder with a track record of growing a landlord portfolio
- Someone with the entrepreneurial mindset to build something new, not just manage what's already there
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and inspire a team
- Propertymark qualification (or experience, ability and willingness to undertake this swiftly)
- A genuine connection to Hampshire or strong local market knowledge
